He retroactively set something up to reverse those charges because I thought I was using my regular direct dial service Day Pass I'm paying $10/day for. then it thinks I'm making a call to Thailand or China from my home country. They say that with wifi calling, it sometimes "pings" my home country (what, if the signal isn't strong enough? Isn't that the problem wifi calling is supposed to solve?). I called AT&T and they said it's because I'm using wifi calling (even though I'd dialed direct), and they'd reverse the charges.

I just got a text saying I'd exceeded $200 in international phone charges despite being very careful about which countries I called. I used it to direct dial other international day pass countries while in Thailand. We're in Thailand and paid for international day pass to call within or between day pass countries.
